We are pleased to announce that five PHS students in Mrs. Cash's English class were winners of the 2024-25 Branch 063 Fleet Reserve Association's essay contest: What would service to our country mean to me, open to sophomores and seniors in our region from Spokane to Boise.  Sophomores Lane Mader took 1st place and Josephine Mader took 3rd place winning $150 and $50 cash prizes.  Seniors Hannah Schwartz took 1st place, Harlee Brannan 2nd place and Drake Cronan 3rd place winning $150, $100 and $50 cash prizes.  Pictured Left to Right: Josephine Mader, Hannah Schwartz, Harlee Brannan, Lane Mader (Not Pictured Drake Cronan) Photo by Matt Elven. Click on the photo for a larger view.

 The Prairie Lady Pirates opened District play Wednesday at Cottonwood against Logos and won 60-14. The tournament moves to Lewiston High School on Saturday where they will play either Kendrick or C.V. at 4 p.m..
