Zephyrs win 1 of 8 to close out regular season
The Camas Prairie Zephyrs lost 7 of their final 8 regular season games. On Tuesday, July 9 they split with Orofino at Cottonwood, losing 13-16 and then winning 16-14. On Friday, July 12, they traveled to Lewiston and were swept by the Lewis-Clark Cubs 6-16 and 1-11. On Saturday, July 13, they traveled to Sandpoint and were swept by the North Idaho Lakers 8-15 and 0-17. Finally on Sunday, July 14, they traveled to Coeur d’Alene and were swept by the LUMS 0-10 and 1-11. . . .

The Prairie Community Library has re-opened thanks to many, many volunteers. The library awarded two family Grangeville Border Days rodeo passes to community volunteers and the lucky winners are the Megan and Jason Rambo family (above) and Carter Shears (below). Thanks to the Grangeville Border Days Committee for their generosity in donating the family passes to the library. The summer reading program is under way with story time on Tuesdays at 10am.
