The Habit Coffeehouse has moved to the former US Bank building which allows them to have a drive-up window, something they did not have before. See story above left for more photos. Click on the photo for a larger view.

On October 16, we had our first high school Faith Night, where we went trick-or-treating around Cottonwood to collect canned foods for the Local Food Bank. Although our group was small, the donations were great. I can’t thank this community enough for their generosity to those in need in our own community. Thank you to my parents who stepped up and helped drive these students around town to collect the goods Rachel Rehder, Tiffany Forsmann, Trina Geis, and Erika Shears. I would not be able to do this job without your help.  A huge thank you to those high school students who showed up and the family members of my drivers. On October 12, it was that time of year again for roadside cleanup for the Tri-Parish youth. We have a 3 mile Adopt-A-Highway stretch just outside of Cottonwood. I had an awesome turn out of high school and junior high students that volunteered their Saturday morning to come help clean up our roadways. After cleanup, students were taken to Subway for lunch.  Once again I’d like to thank the four parents who volunteered to help which was very much appreciated by me. Aleana Lockart, Lacey Uhlenkott, and Johanna Stubbers I could not have done this without your help. Blessings to all of you. Sarah Walsh. Photo submitted by Sarah Walsh.
