The Prairie Lady Pirates won 1 of their 3 matches at State with the two losses coming in heartbreaking fashion at Jerome High School Thursday and Friday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
They lost to Hagerman 18-25, 21-25, 25-17, 26-24, 15-17 on Thursday. On Friday they defeated Liberty Charter of Nampa 25-12, 25-18, 25-16. Later on they were eliminated by Oakley 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 17-25, 15-17. . . .

Lady Patriots out in 2 at State
The St. John Bosco Lady Patriots had a short stay at the State Tournament at Canyon Ridge High School in Twin Falls as they were unable to win even 1 set.
They were the #8 seed and opened against #1 seed Rockland and lost 10-25, 16-25, 16-25 on Thursday, Oct. 31. On Friday, Nov. 1, they faced league foe Genesee, who had been beaten by eventual state champion Grace Lutheran of Pocatello. Grace Lutheran won state without losing a set despite coming in as the #5 seed. The Patriots lost to Genesee 9-25, 16-25, 18-25. . . .

Prairie High School was awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy at the 2A State Volleyball tournament this past weekend. This award recognizes both the players and fans. The team was awarded the trophy on Saturday morning at Jerome High School.
